Creative Directors

Trish Brown | Producing Artistic Director

Trish Brown is a professional director, actress, and theatre educator.  She has directed regionally, as well as in Canada, and is a proud associate member of SDC, the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society. She holds an MFA in Directing from the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University and worked professionally in Chicago for a number of years before returning to the St. Louis area.  Theatre education is a passion of Trish’s, and she has taught in regional arts programs such as COCA in St. Louis and Hinsdale Center for the Arts in Chicago, as well as in several university and college programs around the region.  Trish is currently a Professor of Theatre at Principia College.  Trish is a founding member of both The Moving Dock Theatre Company in Chicago, and Bankside Repertory Theatre in Alton, IL.  The Michael Chekhov technique is one of her specialties, and she also loves film directing.  In addition to her directing career and educational work, Trish coaches actors for film, television, and stage.

Joy Addler | Producing Managing Director

Joy is a St. Louis area stage manager, company manager, and nonprofit professional. A proud graduate of The Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University, Joy has a BFA in Stage Management and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management. She is also a member of the Actor’s Equity Association. Joy also served as the Performing Arts Manager for Variety the Children’s Charity for four years, overseeing their inclusive chorus and dance programs throughout the year, as well as serving as the Company Manager and Production Stage Manager for their annual Variety Theatre production. Currently, she works as an Event Coordinator for Washington University. In addition to her full-time job, Joy works as a freelance stage manager throughout the St. Louis area.

Caleb D. Long | Associate Producer

Caleb D. Long is a St. Louis-based actor, director, designer, and producer. Originally from southern Missouri, Caleb received his BFA in Musical Theatre from The Dobbins Conservatory at Southeast Missouri State University. Post college, he performed professionally across the country as a proud member of Actor’s Equity, where his love of doing theatre grew into a love of creating it. More recently, Caleb has moved focus to producing and directing as well as scenic and costume design. He has worked in regional theaters such as Ozark Actor’s Theatre, St. Louis Actor’s Studio, Union Avenue Opera, and has served as the Technical Director of Prism since its inaugural season. Caleb is excited to grow with Prism as it continues to bring professional theatre to the St. Louis region.
