About Our Show

Prism’s first musical! We are thrilled to be producing a gender-bent version of [title of show], a one-act musical that follows four friends as they attempt to write a musical for the New York Musical Theatre Festival, and highlights the magic of theatre as a means to collaborate and a way to form a community. In this unique twist on [title of show], all four characters are portrayed by women. Gender-bending this musical to focus on women playwrights honors the voices that have been so integral to Prism’s story and success.
